Indian Warehouse Manager

JOB PURPOSE

Assist Chinese manager to manage the warehousing department. According to the company’s assessment objectives, under the leadership of the Chinese manager, reasonably arrange the work of the department to achieve the annual assessment objectives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES.

  • According to the daily work tasks, to ensure the warehouse goods receiving, issue and storing are completed on time and in quantity.
  • According to the layout plan of the warehouse by the Chinese manager, arrange the storage, sorting, and repacking of products in different areas.
  • Check the implementation of 5S in the warehouse every day, feedback the results to the Chinese manager, propose improvement Suggestions for the shortage, and conduct regular training for the local team.
  • Check the results of daily stocktaking, investigate, and analyze abnormal situations and get report to Chinese manager.
  • Assist Chinese manager to improve the process of receiving and delivering goods and improve the efficiency of receiving and delivering goods in warehouse.
  • Assist the Chinese manager to prepare for the monthly stock taking, arrange the local staff to assist the Chinese party to carry out the inventory, and analyze the reasons for the inventory differences and improve the follow-up.
  • Count the number of temporary workers on duty every day and allocate personnel in each region reasonably. Feedback to the Chinese manager about the situation of the post and conduct the preliminary review of temporary workers’ salary.
  • Recruit and optimize temp team according to warehouse planning, ensure local team work efficiently.
  • Assist The Chinese manager to conduct the first interview with local staff and give feedback to the Chinese manager for reference.
  • Conduct training and supervise the implementation of new employees according to the positions and responsibilities set by the Chinese manager.
  • Assist Chinese manager to carry out department team activities regularly.
  • According to the annual damage rate target set by the company, check the warehouse damage every day, analyze the causes, put forward improvement plans, reduce the damage rate of the warehouse, and achieve the annual target.
  • According to the annual cost target set by the company, assist the Chinese manager to control the loading and unloading cost, tooling cost and material cost to achieve the annual target.
  • According to the daily performance of employees, monthly KPI scores are given to local employees.
  • Assist The Chinese manager to check the fire safety of the warehouse every day, give feedback to the hidden safety problems and assist the Chinese manager to deal with them.
  • Check whether the warehouse staff work safely and conduct safety training for them regularly
  • Check the warehouse receipt and delivery process every day to prevent the warehouse goods stolen.
  • Other matters assigned by the Chinese manager.
