Names of Selected Candidates to Join the Tanzania Police Force 2024 and Required to Report to Moshi Police School in September 2024

 

The Tanzania Police Force has released the list of candidates who have been selected to join the Police Force in 2024. These candidates are required to report to Moshi Police School starting from September 30, 2024, until October 2, 2024.

 

The selected individuals should ensure they bring the necessary items as listed in the reporting instructions and adhere to the reporting deadlines. Any candidate who fails to report by October 2, 2024, will be considered to have voluntarily withdrawn from the training.

Announcement for Reporting at Police School Moshi

TANZANIA POLICE FORCE RECRUITMENT NOTICE FOR SELECTED CANDIDATES TO REPORT AT MOSHI POLICE SCHOOL

  1. The Inspector General of Police informs all selected candidates for the Tanzania Police Force recruitment that they are required to report to the Moshi Police School between September 30, 2024, and October 2, 2024, to commence their training.
  2. Candidates who underwent interviews at the Police Academy in Dar es Salaam (DPA) and other units under Police Headquarters must report at Dar es Salaam Barracks on Kilwa Road, near the Police Main Hospital, on September 30, 2024, at 6:00 AM, to prepare for their departure to Moshi Police School.
  3. Candidates interviewed in other regions of mainland Tanzania are required to report to their respective Regional Police Commanders on September 29, 2024, at 8:00 AM to receive travel arrangements for Moshi Police School.
  4. Similarly, candidates who were interviewed in Zanzibar (both Unguja and Pemba) must report to the Zanzibar Police Headquarters (Ziwani) on September 29, 2024, to be given instructions regarding their travel arrangements.
  5. Furthermore, all selected candidates must report to Moshi Police School with the following items: 

    i) A blue tracksuit with a white stripe, a plain white t-shirt (without writing), black sports shoes, black socks, two blue (navy) shorts for sports and exercises, and a blue metal trunk.

     

    ii) A round white mosquito net (not rectangular), two pairs of light blue bed sheets (4 in total), one grey blanket (without decorations, not a duvet), and a charcoal iron box.

     

    iii) Cleaning equipment: a rake, a hoe with a handle, a machete, two small buckets, and a broom made from millet stalks.

     

    iv) NHIF health insurance card or TZS 50,400 for those without an insurance card.

     

    v) Original academic certificates, an original birth certificate, NIDA card or national identification number, copies of NIDA cards or identification numbers of parents or close relatives (such as uncles, aunts, grandparents), six passport-sized photos (with a blue background), and five photocopies of each certificate listed above.

     

    vi) Subsistence money.

  6. Mobile phones are not allowed at the school. Reporting with a mobile phone is prohibited, and anyone found with one will be considered to have committed a disciplinary offense, leading to immediate expulsion from the training. The school will provide guidelines on how to communicate.
  7. Anyone reporting to Moshi Police School after October 2, 2024, will not be accepted and will be considered to have voluntarily withdrawn from the training.
  8. The list of selected candidates is attached to this announcement.
