1. Wheelchair Technician
Job Reference Number: 2025 – 01
Location: CCBRT, Moshi, Tanzania
Key Responsibilities:
As a Wheelchair Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting the seating clinic team in the provision of wheelchairs and assistive devices. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assembling, producing, and customizing wheelchairs and assistive devices as per specified requirements
- Supporting clinicians during patient assessments and fitting of devices
- Ensuring the safety and technical functionality of each wheelchair and modification before fitting
- Transporting clients, equipment, and supplies between the seating unit and workshop
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times
- Participating in outreach activities as required
Eligibility Criteria:
- Education: Form 4 certificate plus training in basic wheelchair services from a recognized institution
- Experience: At least 1 year of working experience in wheelchair support
- Additional Skills: Certificate in welding is an added advantage
- Key Skills:
- Flexibility and multitasking abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both in Swahili and English)
- Proactive attitude and eagerness to work
- Basic computer skills

As a Medical Attendant, you will provide vital support to healthcare providers and assist with client care under supervision. Your tasks will include:
- Preparing the clinical working area and ensuring all tools are in good condition
- Transporting clients, equipment, and supplies to optimize patient flow within CCBRT
- Providing health education to clients and their guardians
- Managing visiting hours and ensuring client safety and well-being
Eligibility Criteria:
- Education: Form 4 certificate plus one-year basic nursing training/certificate in social welfare from a government-recognized institution
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year working experience
- Key Skills:
- Flexibility and multitasking abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both in Swahili and English)
- Proactive attitude and eagerness to work
- Basic computer skills
