As a Finance Assistant at ECSA-HC, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organization. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Financial Data Management: Support financial data entry, reconciliation, and reporting to ensure accurate and timely financial records.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain finance archives, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and guidelines.
- Invoice and Report Preparation: Prepare invoices, receipts, VAT returns, and other financial reports as required.
- Audit Assistance: Assist in audits and provide administrative support to the Finance Director, ensuring the smooth functioning of the finance department.
Qualifications and Requirements
To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualifications: A degree in Accounting or Finance, along with CPA-T (Certified Public Accountant-Tanzania) or ACCA membership.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in an international or donor-funded environment.
- Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and strong knowledge of donor-funded finance management.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential to effectively communicate within the organization and with external partners.
