VVOB Tanzania is seeking quotations for transport services to support operations across various regions. Below are the detailed requirements for the services needed.

Transport Services Requested

Daily Hire

Quotations are invited for the following vehicle types, with pricing based on distance traveled (per km) and driver hire costs (per day or half-day):

• Saloon Vehicle (5 Seater)
  • Rate per KM (TZS)
  • Driver Daily Cost (TZS)
  • Driver Half Day Cost (TZS)
• 7 Seater Van
  • Rate per KM (TZS)
  • Driver Daily Cost (TZS)
  • Driver Half Day Cost (TZS)
• 9 Seater Van
  • Rate per KM (TZS)
  • Driver Daily Cost (TZS)
  • Driver Half Day Cost (TZS)
• 14 Seater Van
  • Rate per KM (TZS)
  • Driver Daily Cost (TZS)
  • Driver Half Day Cost (TZS)
• 22-25 Seater Buses
  • Rate per KM (TZS)
  • Driver Daily Cost (TZS)
  • Driver Half Day Cost (TZS)

Notes for Bidders:

• Quotations should be based on distance traveled (per km) plus driver hire cost (per day).
• A half-day is assumed to cover up to 6 consecutive hours of use.

Cab Services

Quotations are requested for cab services in Dar es Salaam and Bagamoyo, including airport transfers, with the following details:

• Rate per km (TZS)
• Waiting charges in Tanzania shillings and duration the waiting charge takes effect
• Rates for 4-seater capacity vehicles
• Rates for 7-seater capacity vehicles

General Requirements

The quoted prices must include the following:

• Vehicle hire on a chauffeur-driven basis
• Fuel costs
• Vehicle replacement in case of mechanical breakdown
• Vehicle maintenance and servicing

The service provider must have the capacity to provide services in one, some, or all of the following locations, depending on assignment requirements:

• Dar es Salaam
• Bagamoyo
• Morogoro
• Mwanza
• Dodoma
• Mbeya
• Zanzibar
• Katavi
• Tanga
• Mtwara
• Arusha
• Kigoma
• Other regions as necessary

Payment and Contract Terms

• All payments will be subject to statutory deductions, including Withholding Tax (WHT), in line with applicable laws.
• A valid Electronic Fiscal Device (EFD) receipt must be provided for each payment.
• The successful bidder will enter into a Service Agreement with VVOB for a period of one (1) year.
• Quoted prices should remain valid for the entire contract period.
