Job Summary:

The Loader is responsible for loading, unloading, and handling cargo, baggage, and other items safely and efficiently. This role ensures that all items are handled according to company procedures, safety regulations, and airline requirements while maintaining efficiency in operations.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Load and unload passenger baggage, cargo, and supplies safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure proper handling of items to prevent damage or loss.
  • Follow weight distribution and stacking guidelines for safe transportation.
  • Adhere to airline safety regulations and company handling procedures.
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during operations.
  • Report any damaged baggage or cargo to the supervisor.
  • Operate loading and unloading equipment (e.g., conveyor belts, carts, trolleys).
  • Perform routine checks on loading equipment to ensure functionality.
  • Work closely with the station in-charge, drivers, and operations team for smooth logistics.
  • Communicate any delays or operational issues affecting schedules.
  • Maintain cleanliness in loading and storage areas.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of cargo to prevent contamination or damage.

Education:

  • Secondary school certificate (Form IV or equivalent).
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English language is preferred.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in baggage handling, logistics, or warehouse operations is an advantage.

Skills:

  • Physical fitness to handle lifting and carrying tasks.
  • Attention to detail for proper handling of cargo.
  • Basic communication skills for team coordination.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight schedules.

Job Summary:

The Sales and Reservation Officer is responsible for promoting and selling the company’s travel and tour packages, managing client reservations, and providing excellent customer service. The role involves maintaining relationships with clients, ensuring efficient booking processes, and achieving sales targets to contribute to the company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Marketing:

  • Promote and sell travel packages, tours, and related services to individual and group clients.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Identify new business opportunities and actively participate in marketing campaigns.

Reservations Management:

  • Handle client inquiries and provide tailored travel solutions including itineraries, and air tickets.
  • Manage and confirm bookings for accommodations, transportation, and other travel-related services.
  • Ensure all reservations are accurately processed and confirmed in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and partners to ensure smooth service delivery

Customer Service:

  • Address customer questions, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
  • Provide clients with travel advice, including itinerary planning, visa requirements, and travel insurance.
  • Follow up with client’s post-trip to gather feedback and build loyalty.

Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Experience in sales, reservations, or customer service, preferably within the travel and tourism industry.
  • Familiarity with booking systems, travel platforms, and reservation tools is essential.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of Global Distribution Systems (GDS) like Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre is a strong advantage.

Sales and Customer Service Skills:

  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation, persuasive communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and resolve issues professionally.

Industry Knowledge:

  • Comprehensive understanding of travel and tourism products, including destinations, accommodations, and transportation.
