BARISTA VACANCY IN ARUSHA

On behalf of our client in the Hospitality industry we are hiring for a well experienced Barista to join their team in Arusha City.

Position Summary Overview:

You will be responsible to prepares and serves coffee, other beverages, and sometimes food items, while also taking orders, handling payments, and maintaining a clean and stocked work area. Key duties include operating espresso machines and other equipment, providing excellent customer service by answering questions and making recommendations, and adhering to health and safety standards. You should have a strong communication skill, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role.

Qualification: Certificate/Diploma in Culinary Studies

Experience: 5 Years as Barista in fast paced environment

Salary: Negotiable

 Core Responsibilities:

  • Beverage Preparation: You will brew coffee and tea, operate espresso machines, and create specialty hot and cold drinks.
  • Food Service: You will be expected to prepare and serve food items such as pastries, sandwiches, or salads.
  • Customer Service: You will be expected to greet customers warmly, take orders, provide menu recommendations, and answer questions about products.
  • Point-of-Sale (POS) Operations: You will be expected to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Equipment Operation: You will be expected to maintain safely operate and maintain equipment like grinders, blenders, espresso machines, and brewers.
  • Cleanliness & Maintenance: You will be responsible to clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and seating areas, and ensure a high level of hygiene.
  • Inventory & Stocking: You will be expected to monitor stock levels, replenish supplies, and receive and organize new inventory.

  • Communication: We prefer candidate with clear and effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
