BFS Microfinance Limited is inviting competent, suitable, and self-motivated young Tanzanians to apply for Loan Officer and Recovery Officer opportunities at its various branches in the Lake Region. Below are the details of the available positions:
Available Positions:

Experienced Loan Officers – 3 Posts
Responsibilities:-
Identify potential markets and make sales to attract customers/borrowers.

Conduct thorough loan appraisals for customers who have shown interest in borrowing.

Analyze and review the quality of potential and existing business to ensure maximum profitability.
-
Monitor loan repayments and follow up on late repayments.
-
Recover all defaulted loans from individuals and branch portfolios.

Experienced Recovery Officers – 3 Posts (Based in Mwanza)
Responsibilities:-
Responsible for recovering outstanding debts as assigned.

Develop a recovery strategy for each case and follow up on its implementation to ensure maximum recoveries.

Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on recovery progress and projections.
-
Conduct field visits to collect payments or assess collateral.
-
Prepare and document recovery plans and correspondence.
-
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

General Qualifications:
-
Experience: At least 2 years as a Recovery Officer or Loan Officer in a reputable institution.
-
Education: A minimum of a Diploma and a maximum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Social Sciences, or related fields.

Age: Between 20 and 35 years.
