Job Summary
The Business Head will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Kamal Agro’s operations, including strategic planning, business development, and day-to-day management. This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of the agro produce, especially coffee industry, strong business acumen, and excellent leadership skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business goals and objectives.
- Oversee daily operations and ensure the efficient functioning of all departments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with coffee farmers, suppliers, and customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting in association with the finance department.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
- Should be prepared to be stationed anywhere in Tanzania if needed.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the coffee industry or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role preferred.
- Proven track record of business development and achieving growth targets.
- Strong understanding of the coffee supply chain and market dynamics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in financial management and strategic planning.
