Scope: Watering, Fertilization and Climate Control
Job Description:
- To communicate to the superior to get job instructions.
- To do watering as per instructions based on crop need and weather conditions.
- To monitor plant growth and advise Agronomy Manager accordingly.
- Pre-planting preparation including watering and disinfection of drip lines and sprinklers.
- To report any problem in the irrigation system to the Agronomy Manager.
- To advise Agronomy Manager in watering schedules in relation to weather conditions.
- To give extra water to slow-growing plants using hosepipe during propagation period.
- To monitor humidity and temperature in greenhouses using available equipment for measuring climate in the greenhouse.
- To monitor light intensity in greenhouses during propagation/rooting period.
- To maintain moisture in the tunnels/plugs and fertigation in propagation for Rooted Cuttings orders.
- Advise or/and communicate all deviations from standard cultivation of each crop in relation but not limited to shading, irrigation volumes, EC and pH deviations.
Qualification & Experience Required:

Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE); candidates with agriculture studies at this level will have an added advantage.

Basic Certificate in General Agriculture or any related agricultural field (mandatory).

Diploma in General Agriculture or a closely related agricultural discipline is a strong advantage.
- Communication skills and computer skills is advantage
