Our client is one of the leading technology solutions providers in East Africa. They specialize in a range of services, including radio communication solutions, parking access and revenue collection systems, integrated security and smart access control solutions, traffic management and enforcement systems, IT solutions, reliable green energy and power supply solutions, and drone solutions for various applications.
We seek to recruit a competent individual to fill the position of Head of Energy Solutions.
Head Energy Solutions
This position is responsible for providing strategic leadership in the Energy Solutions Division. Key responsibilities include identifying sales opportunities, developing markets and strategic partnerships, leading bid preparation and negotiations, and overseeing the implementation of energy solutions projects at customer sites.
Requirements:

A university degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields.

A post-graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or related fields.

At least 10 years of experience in sales, design, implementation, or maintenance of electrical/power/energy solutions.

A minimum of 5 years of experience leading business development or commercial teams for electrical/power/energy solutions in a similar role within the private sector.

Experience in leading the preparation and submission of at least 5 successful bids exceeding USD 200,000 for electrical/power/energy solutions that resulted in contracts with government, development partners, multinational companies, or agencies.

Proven track record and experience in designing and supervising solar and hydro energy projects.

Professional certification in project management, such as PRINCE2 or PMP, is an added advantage.

Excellent proficiency in written, spoken, and read English is required.

Proficiency in spoken and read Swahili is an added advantage.
