Briefly of a Job position. As a Human resources (HR) officer, your aim is to ensure that the organization you work for can meet its objectives by having the right workforce in place. You’ll achieve this by selectively hiring people with the right skills and experience. You may help provide training and development opportunities for employees, and guidance around issues such as performance and progression, and disciplinary measures where they arise.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Manage process of recruiting, screening, interviewing, onboarding, and placing workers as per the set standards.
2. Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees.
3. Update and keep custody of employed attain various systems and documentations.
4. Manage issuance and amendment of employee contracts and letters.
5. Facilitate staff transfer process (collection of necessary documentations, payment of advance, follow up on settlement).
6. Register employees to statutory requirement (WCF, NHIF, NSSF, and HESLB).
7. Ensure compliance to workplace health and safety regulations (OSHA) by sending employees for required training, holding OSHA meetings, etc.).
8. Manage staff attendance to work and adherence to set working hours including field works and prepare a report.
9. Ensure correct application of different types of employee leaves, by checking, processing, and tracking leave application forms.
10. Provide cletical and administrative support to Manager.
11. Prepare reports relating to personnel activities (payroll, recruitment, and training).
12. Coordinate and keep records of HR lead companywide activities (meetings, surveys, company culture related activities, etc.)
13. Deal with employee requests and provide necessary support regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.
14. Negotiate with staff and their representatives (e.g. trade union officials) on issues relating to payment, working conditions, contracts and retrenchment.
15. Advise on pay and other benefits.
16. Advise line managers in how to implement policies and procedures.
17. And any other duties as been assigned by my supervisor.

Qualifications
1. Holder of Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management
2. Good in Microsoft Excel
3. Must be fluent in English speaking and writing
4. At least 1year working Experiences.
5. Labor laws knowledge
6. Excellent leadership, training and development skills
7. Strong Decision making skills
8. Ability to Manage the team
