Job Title: Marketing Officer

Department: Sales and Marketing

Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Reporting To: Marketing Manager

Job Description:

Implement marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and achieve business objectives.
Assist the Marketing Manager in managing daily departmental functions and marketing operations.
Organize and participate in marketing events, campaigns, and promotional activities to raise brand awareness and attract customers.
Develop and execute advertising campaigns across various platforms including social media, print, and digital media.
Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and partners to promote the company and increase market reach.
Monitor the progress of marketing initiatives and evaluate their effectiveness using defined metrics.
Prepare marketing content including brochures, flyers, and digital material; ensure timely and strategic distribution.
Ensure consistent and professional brand representation across all marketing channels.
Contribute to team efforts by supporting other marketing tasks and objectives as assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

3. Qualification & Experience Required:

Minimum of 1 year of proven experience as a Marketing Officer or in a similar role.
Prior experience or existing network within the travel industry is an added advantage.
Solid understanding of marketing techniques, trends, and principles.
Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Creative mindset with commercial awareness.
Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented approach.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
