Job Summary
TICGL is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Business and Investment projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing business and investment projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful implementation of business initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of business and investment environments in Tanzania, as well as an ability to develop strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and manage multiple business and investment projects simultaneously.
- Develop and implement business and investment strategies that align with company goals.
- Identify business opportunities and investment potentials within local and regional markets.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
- Monitor and evaluate project performance, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Provide regular reports on project progress, risks, and outcomes to senior management.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure effective communication between departments.
- Identify and manage project risks, ensuring the resolution of issues promptly.
- Maintain strong relationships with government bodies, investors, and private sector stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies on business and investment practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in managing business and investment projects, particularly within the Tanzanian market.
- Strong understanding of local and regional business environments, including emerging market trends and investment opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Preferred Skills:
- PMP or any relevant project management certification.
- Experience working with government or private sector projects in Tanzania.
- Fluency in both English and Swahili.
