SITE FOREMAN JOB VACANCY (3 POSITIONS) at Expert Consultancy

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Reading Project Plans: Interpret and understand project plans, drawings, specifications, and blueprints to guide the construction process effectively.
• Calculate productivity rates and report project status to supervisors. Responsibilities. Read project plans, drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
• Organize the fulfillment of tasks according to priorities and plans · Create schedules and monitor attendance of crew
• They are primarily responsible for overseeing the daily operations on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and within the requirements.
• Develop a work schedule for workers; Supervise all construction workers; Be the liaison between construction workers and supervisors; Solve disputes between them in a proffesional manner.
• Ability to delegate responsibilities and individual projects to the crew and contractors. Recruit, hire, mentor, manage and train employees and contractors.
• The Foreman works closely with the project managers as well as subcontractors to ensure all capital construction work is completed to comply with project demands.
• Safety Compliance: They are responsible for maintaining safety standards on the job site. Proper comply with OSHA rules and regulations.

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or degree in Construction or related field.
• 4+ years’ experience as a construction foreman
• Extensive knowledge of construction best practices, equipment maintenance, and use, and OSHA guidelines
• Understanding of use and maintenance of electrical and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints and convey this information to others
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to communicate and report effectively
• Aptitude in math and strong problem-solving abilities
• Good physical condition and stamina
