Job Summary:
To supervise daily operations of the Club and Club Facilities such as Golf course, Tennis court, Volleyball court, Children sports center, club house (Bar & Kitchen) and its surroundings
Responsibilities:
- CLUB MANAGEMENT
- Manages and maintains club Assets and inventory including Tractors & accessories, slashers, TV, kitchen utensils, furniture, bar accessories, etc.) And ensuring that all are in order and fully functioning.
- Sends report to the Club Management all issues that need attention and approval.
- Receives, compiles and shares with the club committee all requests for functions/photographing/membership application and various correspondence.
- Proactively initiate new sources of fund collection/raising for sustainability of the Club
- WORKFORCE MANAGEMENT
- Supervises staff attendance, time management, day to day accomplishment of assigned tasks;
- Manages all welfare related aspects for the club staff.
- Ensure staff are adhering to best practice in terms of service delivery standards to customers.
- Ensure hygiene standards are maintained throughout based on the Environmental, Safety and Health standards (ESH)
- Maintains accurate staff records.
- Ensure monthly salary payment for staff plus other related statutory deductions is accomplished.
- COMPLIANCE
- Ensures all services (Kitchen, Bar, Electricity, Water, Garbage) at the club are compliant to the required Legal (NEMC, WCF, OSHA, Municipal) standards.
- Tracks record of payment/subscription for Golfers/Tennis players and follows up for respective payment.
- CASH MANAGEMENT
- Daily deposits to the back on all cash collected from the club.
- Monitors Revenue and Expenses of the club on daily basis
QUALIFICATION
- Formal Qualifications Required
- Minimum Diploma in Business Administration or related Field
Experience
- 2 years Job Related Experience
- Sports Club Management experience will be added advantage
Knowledge
- People Management
- Conversant with any sports related activities especially Golf, tennis, volleyball and or basketball Skills
- Verbal and written Communication in English and Swahili
- Computer knowledge
- Ability to coordinate the team/staff.
