TRA Gives Applicants Chance to Contest Screening Results

Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) Offers Opportunity for Unshortlisted Applicants to Submit Complaints

The Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) has issued a public notice informing applicants who were not shortlisted for the written screening interview for the positions announced on March 22, 2025. According to the notice, applicants who believe they meet the qualifications for the positions they applied for but were not called for the interview have been given an opportunity to submit their complaints.

TRA Announces Opportunity to Appeal Shortlisted Applicants

The applicants who wish to raise concerns should write a letter to the TRA Commissioner General within two days, from March 24 to 25, 2025. In their letter, applicants should clearly state the reasons why they believe they should have been shortlisted, identify the positions they applied for, and outline their qualifications. The letter should be accompanied by a copy of the initial job application and relevant certificates.

This opportunity is available to applicants who submitted their applications previously. Complaints can be submitted via email to either [email protected] or [email protected]. For applicants in the Dar es Salaam region, they also have the option to deliver their complaint letters in person to the TRA Taxpayer Service Center located on Samora Street in the NHC Glass Building, next to the TTCL Headquarters, during working hours.
