We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Zonal Manager to lead and manage sales operations in the Dar es Salaam zone. The ideal candidate will oversee daily sales performance, drive revenue growth, and spearhead the development of new distribution channels to expand market reach and customer base.
Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage daily sales activities across the Dar es Salaam zone
• Monitor sales targets, KPIs, and team performance to ensure consistent growth
• Identify, develop, and implement new distribution channels to increase market penetration
• Recruit, train, and supervise zonal sales teams and field representatives
• Conduct regular market visits to assess customer needs and competitor activity
• Collaborate with marketing and logistics teams to ensure product availability and promotional alignment
• Prepare and present zonal sales reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior management
• Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing structures, and customer service standards
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA is a plus)
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in sales management, preferably in FMCG or telecom sectors
• Proven track record of developing successful distribution strategies
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
• Familiarity with Dar es Salaam’s commercial landscape and consumer behavior
• Proficiency in sales reporting tools and CRM systems
