The Properties Management Officer will form part of the Embassy Administration Team, taking responsibility for the upkeep and management of Embassy properties. The role demands proactive management of facilities, emergency responses, and coordination of building maintenance. The successful candidate will also manage the vehicle fleet and ensure the smooth functioning of daily operations, including logistics and safety.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee safety and maintenance of Embassy properties.
- Coordinate emergency repairs and building projects.
- Maintain records of utility usage and vehicle fleet management.
- Assist with transport logistics and act as a back-up driver during busy periods.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Advanced Level Certificate or Diploma.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Clean driving license (Class C).
Desirable Skills:

2. Senior Driver
Location: Embassy of Ireland, Dar es Salaam
Job Description:
The Senior Driver will be responsible for driving the Ambassador and other Embassy staff, ensuring vehicle safety, and supporting Embassy logistics. The role also includes managing vehicle maintenance, fuel tracking, and assisting with Embassy events. As part of the team, you will perform various administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of operations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Drive the Ambassador and Embassy staff to official engagements.
- Maintain and track mileage, fuel, and toll expenses for Embassy vehicles.
- Ensure the safety of passengers while operating Embassy vehicles.
- Supervise the transport team and assist with event logistics.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Fluent in English and Kiswahili.
- Clean driving license (Class C) with extensive driving experience, including at the executive level.
- National Form VI certificate.
- VETA Grade II Certificate or equivalent.
