On behalf of our client we are looking for a motivated and detailed Junior Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will support daily accounting tasks, maintain financial records, and assist with reporting and compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Record day to day financial transactions and post the general ledger
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor accounts receivable/payable
- Help with inventory and asset tracking
- Maintain proper filling and documentation of financial records
- Support senior accountants and finance managers with audits and tax returns
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or any related field
- 1-2 year of experience in an accounting or finance role (internship included)
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g.,QuickBooks, Tally)
- High level of accuracy, attention to details, and organizational skills
