Sales Business Analyst at MultiChoice Group

Purpose of the Position

Responsible for compiling and analyzing sales and market data; providing valuable feedback and actionable insights which ensure effective sales strategies and enhance sales performance

Key Performance Objectives

Strategy Execution

  • Monitoring and Analyzing Competitor activiy and Market trends
  • Participate in Sales Strategy formulation
  • Preparation & monitoring of Budgets & Forecasts for Sales Function (Budgeting i.e.: Forecast periods)
  • Manage and monitor the Sales Opex budget tracking
  • Suggests adjustments and revisions to promotional strategies to improve sales run rates
  • Provide Data Analytics to Support Hardware pricing decisions, daily sales execution and any other sales activities conducted from time to time
  • Be the champion for Multichoice sales operation tools (Brandworx, FSS SAP, etc
  • Compute Channel Partners Commissions
  • Maintain channel and team database.
  • The analyst need to link with CII team and manage BI dashboards on daily basis
  • Working with the teams in idea generation on new sales initiatives to drive market growth.
  • Work with IT to automate processes and reports to enhance operational efficiency

Operational Delivery

  • Compiling, Analyzing and Reporting Sales Data
  • Provision of Daily Sales Performance Reports
  • Providing actionable insights to guide the sales team.
  • Prepare periodic variance reports highlighting key drivers
  • Supporting and leading continuous improvement projects.
  • Use sales prediction software to determine future trends
  • Create sales performance evaluation reports based on collected data for the sales team
  • Compiling, Analyzing and Reporting on Subscriber Acquisition Cost for various sales channels

EXCO Reporting

  • Support on financial reports, submit directors report by 15th day of every month
  • Prepare stock movement reports and trend analysis
  • Analysis of subscriber movements across a period of time
  • Ensure strategic alignment of projects to long term company goals through business cases.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics or Mathematics.

Experience and Technical Competencies

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a related role.
  • Strong industry/Market knowledge
  • Experience in sales analysis
  • Strong Research and Data Analysis Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Sales and Distribution Management Systems
  • Projection & forecasting Skills
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to think both analytically and creatively
