2.0 Faculty of Education, Humanities, and Science

  1. Assistant Lecturer in Mathematics

    • Qualifications: Master of Science in Mathematics or Master of Education in Mathematics or Master of Science with Education in Mathematics, with a minimum GPA of 4.0; Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Bachelor of Science with Education (Mathematics), with a minimum GPA of 3.5.

  2. Assistant Lecturer in Economics

    • Qualifications: Master of Arts in Economics or Master of Science in Economics or Master of Education in Economics, with a minimum GPA of 4.0; Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Bachelor of Science with Education (Economics), with a minimum GPA of 3.5.

  3. Assistant Lecturer in Informatics/Computer Science

    • Qualifications: PhD in Special Needs/Inclusive or Education in related fields with a minimum GPA of 4.0; Master of Education in Special Needs/Inclusive Education, with a minimum GPA of 4.0; Bachelor’s degree in Special Needs Education with a minimum GPA of 3.5.

  17. Lecturer in Primary Education

    • Qualifications: PhD in Primary Education or Education in related fields with a pass; Master of Education in Primary Education, with a minimum GPA of 4.0; Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education with a minimum GPA of 3.5.

  18. Lecturer in Early Childhood Education

    • Qualifications: PhD in Early Childhood Education with a pass; Master of Education in Early Childhood Education with a minimum GPA of 4.0; Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with a minimum GPA of 3.5.

  19. Lecturer in Isimu ya Kiswahili

    • Qualifications: PhD in Kiswahili with a pass; Master of Arts in Kiswahili with a minimum GPA of 4.0; Bachelor’s degree in Kiswahili with a minimum GPA of 3.5.

  20. Lecturer in Linguistics

    • Qualifications: PhD in Linguistics or Applied Linguistics with a pass; Master of Arts in Linguistics with a minimum GPA of 4.0.

  21. Lecturer in Law

    • Qualifications: PhD in Law with a pass, Master of Laws (LL.M) with a minimum GPA of 4.0; Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) with a minimum GPA of 3.5.

  22. Lecturer in Law (preferably ICT/AI and the Law)

3.0 Faculty of Law

  2. Lecturer in Law

    • Qualifications: PhD in Law with a pass, Master of Laws (LL.M) with a minimum GPA of 4.0; Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) with a minimum GPA of 3.5.

5.0 General Conditions

  • All applicants are required to attach a recent passport-size photograph to their job application.
  • Applicants must be Tanzanian citizens.

  • All submitted certificates must be certified by the appropriate authorities.
  • Provisional results, statements of results, and Form IV or Form VI result slips will not be considered.
  • Applicants who have studied outside Tanzania must provide evidence of their qualifications’ recognition by the relevant authorities.

6.0 Mode of Application
