Job Summary

The Manager – Customer Services and Operations will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of the Bank’s resources and operational processes to deliver exceptional customer service while mitigating operational risks. This role ensures smooth branch operations, compliance with bank policies, and the achievement of customer satisfaction and business objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and performance of branch departments to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality customer service.
  • Securely manage branch keys and authorize access when necessary, particularly in the absence of senior management.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded, reconciled, and compliant with bank policies to maintain the integrity of branch financial records.
  • Review and authenticate customer transactions, including cheque withdrawals and clearing processes, to prevent fraud and ensure compliance.
  • Authorize transaction batches and entries in line with bank policies and procedures.
  • Conduct daily audits and reconciliations of internal accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Address customer concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Promote the Bank’s products and services to customers to achieve sales targets and strengthen relationships.
  • Review and approve payment vouchers to ensure accuracy and adherence to internal controls.
  • Verify the accuracy of all financial entries and transactions posted to accounts.
  • Ensure all internal accounts are balanced and reconciled to prevent discrepancies and errors.
  • Monitor and maintain ATM functionality to ensure uninterrupted customer access.
  • Follow established bank policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain operational efficiency and compliance.

Required Competencies

  • Strong experience in credit operations.
  • Proven experience in banking operations, including cash handling, clearing, accounts management, and administration.
  • Solid background in customer service and relationship management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accountancy, Banking & Finance, or other business-related studies.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in banking operations.
