Job Purpose:
The Financial Analyst will focus on analyzing financial data and trends, providing insights that contribute to the economic analyses in the Economists Talk Magazine.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial statements, market trends, and investment opportunities.
- Collaborate with economists and analysts to integrate financial perspectives into economic analyses.
- Provide insights on the impact of financial developments on the broader economic landscape.
- Prepare reports and articles on financial topics for the magazine.
- Stay updated on financial regulations and industry best practices.
Personal Specifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of experience in financial analysis or a related role.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software.
